Marcus Becton is a North Carolina real estate and personal injury attorney.
Marcus is a Raleigh, NC native and enjoys serving clients in the Triangle (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and all surrounding areas) as well as the Triad (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point and all surrounding areas). Marcus has been around the law all of his life. His dad, Elwood Becton, is a Raleigh personal injury attorney who started his law practice when Marcus and his siblings were very young.
Marcus’ sister, Dee Becton Rozier, is a personal injury attorney and his brother, Taurus Becton, is an attorney and Board Certified Workers Compensation Specialist.
Marcus’ experience in personal injury law dates back to when he worked in his father’s law office, even as a teenager. Marcus developed compassion for people who were injured in all types of accidents. He saw how they often needed the help of an experienced attorney to navigate through the insurance claims process and protect their rights against large corporate insurance companies. Marcus always fights for his client’s rights, he stands up for them against insurance companies and seeks to obtain the best possible compensation for their injuries.
In addition to personal injury law, Marcus has a passion for real estate. Marcus conducts residential and commercial real estate closings throughout North Carolina. He works hard to ensure that his clients’ closing process is as seamless and stress free as possible.
As an additional service to real estate buyers and sellers, Marcus also provides short sale negotiation services. He has earned the Certified Distress Property Expert (CDPE) and Certified Short Sale Specialist (CSSS) designations, and enjoys using his knowledge of bank short sale processes to help homeowners achieve successful short sales.
Marcus married Ginger Brooks in 2007 and they have 3 daughters, Isabella (“Bella”), Juliette and Sienna.
